About Suede IP Registry
Suede IP Registry is a public provenance registry where musicians and artists fingerprint a finished file, sign a wallet-authenticated creator claim, list contributors, and file a public timestamp on Base and Avalanche mainnet — for about a cent in network gas.
What we build
Every registration writes an exact-file fingerprint, a wallet-signed claim, and a contributor record to the chain, so provenance travels with the work instead of living in a private database. Owner-authorized licensing is paused during a contract upgrade; registration and public verification stay live throughout.
Who runs it
Suede IP Registry is built by Jason Colapietro (Johnny Suede), as part of Suede Labs AI, which builds creator ownership infrastructure — a rights registry, likeness and voice protection, and royalty routing for the AI era.
